Kelly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics at Hofstra University, with a minor in English. After graduating, she taught English in Gunsan, South Korea to children whose ages ranged from six to sixteen. She discovered a passion for teaching, and upon returning home, found a job teaching ESL to adults in Connecticut. She realized that teaching adults was even more interesting and rewarding for her, and completed her Master’s Degree in TESOL at Central Connecticut State University. She has been teaching at UCAELI since 2011, and her life has been enriched by meeting and building relationships with people from all over the world. In her free time, Kelly enjoys movies, live music, hiking, and Ultimate Frisbee.
