**UCAELI cannot guarantee single or double room requests. Dormitory assignments are based on availability.
Explanation of fees:
*** ALL FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE***Application fee: Non-refundable fee covering application processing.
Course Fees: Based on 22 hours of instruction per week
Student ID Fee: Required fee - access to library, gym, student identification
On campus housing: Single or shared room in dormitory on campus. UCAELI cannot guarantee specific room requests.
Homestay: Single room in home of local family. Available to students in second semester or later only.
Meal plan: Students living in dorms must purchase a full meal plan. There are several options available. **Exceptions are students living in dormitories with kitchen access.**
Medical Insurance: All full-time UCAELI students are required to purchase medical insurance from UCONN, provided by AETNA.
Refund Policy: If you decide not to attend the program, your $165 application fee will not be refunded.
However, if you submit a new application within 12 months from the date of the first application, we will credit the $165 application fee to your account. In case of illness or other emergency, UCAELI will refund your course fees and housing fees on a prorated basis upon receipt of proper documentation. If you want to withdraw from the program, fees will be refunded according to the following schedule: 1 week before a session starts: Program fees less $165.00 After first day of classes: No refund
Part-time Programs
EEC (Academic Writing, Listening and Speaking, Pronunciation, Communicating on Campus):

Program fees and other fees may be paid in cash in person, or by check, money order, wire transfer or credit card. Program fees should be paid in full prior to the start of classes.
