Yunjeong has a strong passion to educate English learners and encourage them to improve their language skills with her master’s degree in TESOL and her teaching philosophy. Yunjeong believes that teaching a new language is not all about the language itself, but also sharing and understating different cultural backgrounds and creating a new connection to the world.

Her teaching interests include student-centered learning and content-based instruction of language with a focus on culture, motivation, and pedagogy in language teaching. She views herself as a Sherpa guiding students up Mt. Everest to lead students to reach the pinnacle of their ability. In her free time, she keeps herself busy gardening, reading, cooking, hiking and making plans for trips! She joined UCAELI in 2017.
